The growth and adoption of the new technologies – particularly the smart phone – has made sensing devices ubiquitous in our lives. Sophisticated sensing devices provide more power at a lower cost than ever before while the range of physical sensing capabilities continues to expand rapidly. Simultaneously the growth of the Internet and mobile phone technologies around the world enables connectivity to be achieved at lower costs and with greater coverage than ever before. We utilise these trends to deliver solutions into markets traditionally underserved by industrial suppliers – particularly for smaller industrial customers and those who are based in low and middle income countries.

Industrial sensing technology has traditionally been both costly, standalone and difficult to incorporate into real-time business intelligence systems. We leverage the development of new sensing technology and the availability of Internet connectivity to deliver sensing modules that are constantly connected and distributed throughout the industrial environment. Widespread sensing enables monitoring of equipment that has previously been excluded from monitoring systems; while the wealth of data available can be analysed and interpreted to deliver insights and knowledge not previously known to a customer.
